I’m super skeptical when making a “big item” purchase like a mattress or appliance online w/o trying it. My paranoid self thought the thousands of 5 star reviews on this bed were an elaborate dupe…

This mattress is nothing short of incredible! Hands down the most luxurious, dreamy bed I’ve ever bought (far surpassed my euro pillow top from MattressFirm). And the pricepoint is too good to be true. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a “wow” bed at the cheapest price possible.

Memory foam is thick and dense (unlike cheap “toppers”). Has that amazing “sinking into a cloud” feel while still providing an impressive amount of firmness/support. I literally look forward to going to sleep every night in this (my silky damask sheets & down comforter prob help a bit). Suitable for all types – whether you like firm or soft. Everyone who has ever slept or layed down in my bed for the first time has been like “omg this bed”.

RUN DO NOT WALK TOWARD THIS MATTRESS if you’re in the market for a new one! Really an outstanding product. Not sure what the “green tea” specification indicates (I guess some memory foam has an odor to it?). But I have never smelled even a slight smell from this mattress. Very breathable and cozy. I got it as a college student when moving out of the dorms (needed to be frugal) and really hit the jackpot.

Zinus also makes some other GREAT platform bed frames to accompany this mattress that also are really affordable.

mattress for back pain

I was worried about this mattress for two reasons based on previous reviews:
-Off-gassing, because I rent a room and don’t want roommates to have to smell that for days.
-Sleeps too hot/retains heat, I live in Texas and it’s almost peak temperatures right now.

Luckily, those reviewers were wrong, or Zinus has changed some things. I had zero odor and the mattress was sleepable almost immediately. I got the mattress unboxed around 10:00 and it was perfectly comfortable by 23:00.

I do not notice this mattress retaining heat, and I’m actually sleeping almost all the way through the night. I’m sure a more expensive mattress would feel like an a/c unit, but for this price I’m blown away.

Only downside: lack of edge support. You won’t be sitting on the side of the bed with this mattress.

I’ll try and do an update in 3-6months to see if everything holds out.

I was so hesitant to order with so many mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I did. When our mattress arrived the smell was gone within an hour, maybe less. Like completely gone, you could lay on it and would never know it stunk to the high heavens. Don’t let the smell scare you at first! Within a few hours it had fully expanded, but we did leave it for the full amount of time. We’ve been looking at mattresses for a while and this one honestly feels like the over 1k ones in the store. For less than $400 I’m very happy with it!

best pillow brand for neck pain

My wife and I have had a Serta Pillow Top Back Support mattress for years now. A friend of our had recently purchased a Zinus mattress, and we were able to sleep on it when we visited a few months back. We loved it and decided to purchase one for ourselves. I tend to toss and turn alot in my sleep and it wakes my wife. We have had this mattress for 2 nights total, and for the 1st time in 3 years my wife has slept all night without me waking her from moving around. She can’t feel me tossing and turning. I also am not tossing around as much as it feels like your sleeping on a cloud. It can feel a little firm to some at first, but everything stays aligned from your back to your neck. The 1st morning after, we both awoke with a little soreness in our backs but the 2nd morning was much different. We felt completely rested and energized. We absolutely recommend this mattress to anyone.
